Athens International Airport, Eleftherios Venizelos, reports smooth air traffic and passenger service despite widespread operational challenges at other major airports worldwide.

An airport communications executive told APE-MPA that while some airlines have experienced issues with their information systems, these have been mitigated using traditional check-in methods, such as manual card processing. No significant flight delays or problems beyond the usual have been observed.
Contrary to official reports, some passengers have shared videos suggesting extensive delays and chaos at the airport, with many flights reportedly delayed by at least an hour and a half.
